Are you seeing a therapist that specializes in PTSD treatment? You need to have a support system in place, you can't do this on your own. I have a really good T myself and my T has met with my husband and informed him that I genuinely struggle and that he needs to stop being angry, dismissive, and unsupportive to me. It has helped me so much to be able to work on the PTSD and have support verses consistently uttering what you are saying here.
No, people do not understand PTSD and they tend to react in very demeaning and unsupportive ways "blaming the victim" which only aggravates the PTSD even more.
