That's all well and good but until you've eaten corn within 15 minutes of picking it then you've missed something. I suppose you've never stopped on the side of a road with a cornfield nearby and picked a few ears

I would love to have a garden. I recently bought a nonworking tiller and pressure washer for $50. I sold the pressure washer for $65 and bought a $20 carb kit and fabbed up a new throttle cable holder and I now have a working tiller for $5
Unfortunately I have no place for a garden. I am resodding my sisters yards with St Augustine though and the tiller is really helping with that.
I've repaired so many machines lately that I wonder about having a small engine repair shop. That would take most of the fun out of it though

I'd love to have some chickens and maybe a couple of small pigs too. The pigs would be for pets and the chickens for eggs.
We had chickens, pigs, sheep, and cows on the place I spent my first 4 years.
I watched my mother kill and prepare chickens. Don't think I could do that unless I was starving

Did you grow up in the country? Ever eat poke salad or chicken ovaries? If not you didn't miss much
