Fun fact: did you know that each strand of silk on an ear of corn corresponds with a kernel of the corn?

We used to take the silk off and then rewrap the outer leaves, precook the corn until almost done and then wrap in aluminum foil and finish cooking by the campfire. It is way cool that I have nearly 80 acres and can camp without being interrupted by other people. Also having a hammock in the woods can be great fun.
