I was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem. I'm 24 years old and I LOVE to go out and stay out late. I love to go to kareoke, go dancing and meet new people. However, I am bipolar and I have to take my seroquel along with my lithium about 2 hours before bed to fall asleep or else I won't sleep. I barely go out because every time I do, I cannot fall asleep when I get home and my meds just don't work. Even when I have nothing to drink, when I get home at 1,2 or 3am, I lay in bed and toss and turn until about 6am. Then my sleep is completely out of sink and for the next few nights. I either can't fall asleep early or I'm exhausted and have to play catch up for the next few nights. I end up paying for several days for one night of fun. This happens when I don't even drink. It's so bad that I actually get anxious and worry the entire time i'm out about how i'm going to pay for having a few hours of fun for the next 2 days. Going out late with friends is really important to me. It's something that I can look forward to. Everyone needs something to look forward to do keep life interesting. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem. Any advise?? I'm desperate!!
