Oh, I just noticed your comment about DAMP syndrome. That certainly fits me and a lot of members of my family. I have heard of DAMP syndrome before because it is one of my sister's research topics. She is a psychiatrist, and tends to be most interested in the characteristics that are common in our family (ADHD, Asperger's or other autistic spectrum, and also muscular dystrophy). We are Scandinavian too. My father was born in Norway, and my mother's ancestors came from Denmark and Sweden.
