Hi all, I don't know if I've ever posted in this forum. So hi.

But I had... a day. Which resulted in an emergency call to my pdoc. (Who was largely unhelpful, but that's entirely besides the point.)

I'm just not quite sure what happened. I started out as having a bad day. I woke up really not at all wanting to "do" the day. I had taken the day off of work yesterday because of a... um... "rage incident" from the day before. So I went back to work today.

Within a half hour of getting to work things went downhill rapidly. It progressively got much worse over the course about the next 4 or 5 hours. But at it's worst I was having extreme trouble walking. If I really concentrated I could walk in a straight line, but it was really difficult. My brain was really foggy and almost... dissociated. It was weird and a little hard to explain. Also my chest was really tight and it just wasn't letting up. At one point I was trying to talk to someone and the words coming out of my mouth just felt like they simply did NOT make sense. I felt like such a damn fool and retreated back to my desk.

I called my pdoc (didn't answer... left a message) around 1pm and the symptoms finally let up around 2:30 or 3. By the time I left work I felt "fine". And then by the time my pdoc called back around 6:30 I wasn't bad at all.

It didn't feel as bad as a panic attack... I've had those before and it wasn't nearly as terrifying as a full out panic attack.

But I'd also thought I'd had anxiety attacks before, but the dissociated feeling with the inability to really talk to anyone... I don't know if I remember that part.

Any thoughts?
