In my neighborhood. A man has been walking his little dog, and we've talked each time I'm out and he passes by. He's older than me, and the first time we spoke, I had a bunch of cardboard out by the trash can and he asked if I recycled it. I said I didn't know where to do that, and later he came by and picked it up. We've talked a couple other times since then, and then today we talked for quite a while. He even remembered to ask about my art! He walks his little dog that is a rescue.
Today I learned that he was in the Air Force, that he has two sisters who are retired in FL.
I have to honestly admit I'm cozy in my solitude, not really interested in romance at all, but it might be nice to have a male friend for outings. Each time I've spoken to him, I've been disheveled and at my worst, yet this man seems just to be nice and friendly. It might be nice to be around a man who isn't "sizing me up" like the internet dates I had in the past!
