It hasn't hurt, and it may even have helped, partly because it has helped the actual therapy move forward which has perhaps made my abandonment issues smaller. I know that before I started going twice a week I often found it physically difficult to leave the chair at the end of the therapy hour, which I think may have been related to fear of abandonment. And that problem has definitely become less severe.
