For many weeks now I have not worked. I used to babysit, but because of my irritability, tiredness, depression, anxiety, I have quit work. I just don't think it's fair to them babies to have me care for them. They need someone who's able to do it the way I used to.
Can't sleep at night, so am tired by day. Have tried sleeping pills but then I'm groggy by day as well...
I'm not on antidepressants cuz the docs have had me try so many and none improved my depression, they only added to it with the side effects.
So I'm not working, and am just not able to pay the bills. I'm overwhelmed with the kids, am a single mom, going through a divorce process, my stress has lately been manifesting in backaches, have a child with psychiatric issues and it takes a lot out of me in the morn before he goes off to school and in afternoon when he comes home from school. In addition, the two other kids are real difficult.
On account of what I wrote above, is there basis for applying for ssi? Is there basis for qualifying for benefits?
Thanks!
