Was going to post this in the abuse forum but thought it would be more suitable here.

This regards my daughter who is 21, I found out early this year that she was sexually abused by my dad My dad was on trial at the time for sexual abuse and was convicted and is now in prison, Anyway my daughter did not want to go the police in which I respected her wishes...Moving forward I got her a counsellor in which she has been going to now for 4 weeks this woman has been defending dad saying that you have to feel sorry for the abuser, Today my daughter came back from counselling so upset that I got on the phone and called this counsellor's manager up in which she said they have had complaints before, I am shocked, Also my daughter is given a questionnaire every week to see how her mood has been on a 1 to 10 scale, This woman changes it, Anyway the office are now investigating this counsellor and are giving my daughter another one, It is truly shocking, My daughter has gone for help not to be treated this way
