I'm on okcupid altho I never posted a photo, so I never really get any inquiries. But I do read the guys' profiles, and I find it very educational. After a while, it becomes like exposure therapy to a phobia, and you learn to read the profiles for what they really mean. It's hard to explain! But I think worth doing for that reading experience.
