This is the problem of our society. "What are you doing with your life" is actualy asking "what do you do that generates money." So many people have come to believe that the value of a person is equal to a dollar sign. Take credit scores for example. A credit score is just an arbitrary number that some banks made up off a very complex equasion. Half the time what lowers or raises your credit score makes no snese. For example paying off certain debts can actually
lower your score (whish is so stupid!) BUt, now you read in the news that many companies are starting to turn to credit scores to determine who they hire, which is BS.
Credit score doesn't tell you if lost a job, had a divorce, a death in the family, a disaster, etc.
Because of this money thinking so many people are ashamed to be on disability. It's terrible! If you have a major issue in your life that's just how it is. Not everyone is the 8-5 worker. Humans are not robots.

It makes me mad. People are not $$. People are so many things.
It's horrible.
