I am so sorry this happened to you! I would be really upset by this.

My ex-T was always crazy on-time and he also said once, when I asked about such things, that over the years he had only messed up one session time, and he was in his mid-40s then (but he also admitted to having some OCD).

However, another T in his office came in through the front door/waiting room once when the patient was already there, and he was definitely late...the T was dropping papers and apologizing, etc, as he escorted the patient back.

Another time, the same T came in messing around on his phone, whistling, and there was just me and another client in the waiting room. (I was early for once for my appt.) He looked at this guy, stopped, and basically was like, "Um, we didn't have anything today, did we?" The guy kinda smirked and said, "Yes, because we moved my regular appt., since I will be out of town next week, remember." Since the client seemed amused, I started smirking, too (I had seen this T do and say a couple of other things I didn't like at this point in going to my own appts., so I was amused by him being so completely caught off-guard.) The other T was going to say something, glanced at me, and then asked the other guy into his office so they could "figure something out." My T said this T messed stuff up like appts. all the time.

So I guess I mean to say there is probably a wind range of T behavior/mistakes in this area...from my ex-T who made virtually none to this other T who seemed to be a mess and made them all the time.

Anyway, I hope you don't have to wait another week to see your T, but I am guessing you do.
