I just had to call the police on a neighbor behind us. The mother was screaming expletives, and the little kids were screaming "daddy don't, please stop", and bawling. No idea what was going on, but it sounded horrid. I am shaking. And of course the cops come to my door first...so they'll know who called. What ever. I will not sit by and hear distressed kids and not do something. I probably should have just gone over there myself, but I was scared.

I am so shaky now. I want to puke.
