Thanks. I can be very sarcastic as well, and some people do not like it, some of my previous co workers found it funny. I will suggest an IQ test if she mentions something similar again...It was over 140 when I was a child. It is almost as if there is an antagonistic relationship forming...which is NOT GOOD.

I have been in T, at length, at various points in my life....I usually do well with someone whom is older..probabably subconciously substituting a caring T for my toxic mother.

But this one does not get I cannot function, I am not working, and the only thing I do every day is brush my teeth.
I can relate, my previous coworkers used to think I was rather amusing as well. And wow, you have nothing to lose if she gives you an IQ test that's for sure (but I had that feeling when I made that comment). It's often super intelligent people who, at some time in their lives, have a time when they must struggle through something huge and painful.

And hey, my mother was toxic, too...do they come in another flavor?? I have been in T for 30 years and I am now in my mid-30s. I actually went back to my childhood T, who I saw from age 7-19, last year to see if she could be my T again. We bashed heads like two bulls fighting...it was a constant, nasty battle. She has turned into a horrible, bitter person...and then she tried to blame the whole thing on me and my attitude. One day after trying for 5 months I was like NEVERMIND, I just can't keep trying this and she was basically like "OK then" and was extremely rude about it. So just last year I learned that Ts can be toxic, too. I hope things improve with yours!

I get the brushing your teeth thing, too. I am not working and just filed for disability myself as I can barely manage to eat/shower, etc. Lots of hugs to you and definitely hoping you find some helpful people in your life.
Thanks for this!
