So the doctor said that horse back riding "shouldn't" hurt my knee. I took a brace along just in case and I did need it Once the brace was on, the knee didn't hurt much. Now I'm sitting at the table with an ice pack strapped to it, thinking maybe that was not such a great idea.
My friend I co-own the trailer with really frustrates me as well. Virtually EVERY time we ride together, I have to go to her place to leave from there. I have to get my little trailer ready, load all my stuff and my horse, go over there, get the big trailer ready with her, and unload all my stuff and horse and reload it in the big trailer. Today, the place I wanted to ride is on the same road I live on, so I asked her to come by and pick me up. She told me that it would take her longer if she came to pick me up. Well, DUH. It takes me longer to come by her house and then go EVERY single ****ing time. It would always be faster for me to go straight to wherever it is we are riding. Then the ride itself was frustrating for a variety of reasons, until I stopped even trying to interact with her or the other people and just concentrated on enjoying my time with my horse.
