Hugs to you Aavalyn - sorry you're struggling with your mom and fighting. Yes how she was raised by her father can affect the way she acts now. Is there another family member who you trust, who could help you? Its not right for her to yell and throw things at you - this is a form of abuse. When you go back to school, you could tell your school principal or counselor if they have one. If they feel concerned they might call child services and question your mom, about her behavior. They would most likely give her some parenting advice. If you ever feel in danger, please call emergency services.
