I posted somewhere else that I thought my B-12 supplement was helping with my depression. I should be taking B-6 as well. A nutritionist told me that almost every adult is vitamin D deficient. He recommended a supplement of 1000 IU of vitamin D. The only reason to take fish oil is for the omega-3 fatty acids. Fish oil and fish oil capsules are a con job. The oil in the capsules is almost always rancid and the EPA and DHA have been obliterated by oxidization. Hemp, flax, and chia seeds as well as walnuts are much better sources of omega 3s. The nutritionist recommended staying away from isolated vitamin A. He said humans don't need that much and the isolated form probably does more harm than good.
