Interesting thread Googley. Thanks for starting it.

I've been coloring my hair because my previous pretty auburn has become a mishmash of auburn, grey, blonde, brown and I don't know what else. It kind of reminds me of the color of a mouse. In the winter, when I don't have any tan the blah hair color and blah skin color make me look all washed out. It's not so much that I'm trying to cover the grey, as trying give myself some kind of color. Without some color in my hair I look like death warmed over. I'm in the process of trying to let it grow out right now so I can see what the natural color looks like. I have some tan so I don't look all washed out.

Some of you mentioned going grey early. My husband had the most gorgeous head of hair, but started going grey at 17. By his 40s he was almost all grey. He used to say that the men in his family either went grey early or lost their hair early. He'd rather have a full head of grey hair than no hair.

His hair was so attractive people woulde comment on it.
