just a comment.. I know many toddlers as young as a yr that discover it feels good and will actively masturbate to self sooth just like a child will suck their thumbs to feel better. that was me I discovered at a very young age how soothing and enjoyable it can be. I was also sexually abused at this very young age so I knew exactly what I was doing, especially when I had a "crush" on my "bestest girl friend" when I was 2 and 3 yrs old. my family tells me even back then they knew I was a lesbian because every time I thought of my friend my hands were in my pants and a rocking.
