On top of all my psych issues I have battled since I was young, I got postpartum depression that was a hair away from postpartum psychosis
after the birth of my second child. It got so bad that my husband refused to let me come home. The baby was still nursing.
I had to live in a shelter till I got an apartment. After 15 years, I have been able to have a close relationship with my older child
, but the younger one, not so much.
That was the one thing that depressed me the most.
