Can't go anywhere without hearing "Merry Christmas". Can't go into a store, bus or even listen to the radio without hearing bells going ding-a-ling or music or people with red hats trying to play Santa.

Wise One says there is no reason for the bitterness anymore. No more is there someone to take the presents away and give them to younger brother and sister.
No more is there someone to make us clean up after everyone. No more is there anyone there to beat us for crying over sadness at holidays.
Can't help that Little One hurts. Is Angry, sad and miserable during this time of year. Still afraid to cry out of fear. Still afraid to accept gifts of any kind as they will get taken away anyways. Still gets really jealous over others happiness.
If only we could crawl under a dark blanket, huddle in a corner crying and wait out the Holidays.
