Coolhair, I struggled with skin picking for years. When I got sick I'd pick my skin all over my body or sometimes (a lot of times) I'd focus on picking scalps on my head--that made my hair fall out. I don't know about docs in the UK, but I found a very understanding one here in the US. They are out there but you really have to look for them....D.
