It took a little while for me, as well, to understand what trigger meant. I had a difficult time imagining myself becoming overwhelmed by simply reading a post. So naive!

Then, I got triggered and quickly understood why there was such a thing as a "trigger warning" & appreciated it! That is a very scary, strange and surreal feeling. I don't like it. I often have a difficult time snapping out of it as well.
