omg I just read what I wrote. No... I don't have a huge pile of food particles I've set aside on the kitchen counter. I bet that really sounds gross
I use the scrubber sponge thingy to scrape the food off of each dish into the sink under running water while running the garbage disposal. After a dish is scrubbed it is placed aside on the counter or into a container of hot soapy water. When I'm done there is really nothing much in the water.
If you think about it, there really is no way of getting around having bits of food left on pans, dishes, or utensils.
