I am going through (done in 2 more weeks : ) a version of CBT called Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is mainly CBT but incorporates a mindfulness component. I am finding it ssssuper useful and approachable. I highly recommend it. Also, if you have any portions of your past that you need to make peace with, DBT has an unual but effective approach, for me at least. It is called radical acceptance and it has really helped me move on from a difficult memory/situation.
