There are common rules of etiquette - you knock before entering another persons private space. I have a bathroom off my bedroom and my girls prefer to shower there. If I know they might be in my bedroom and bathroom....... I knock and ask if I can come in. Even though I'm their mother and its my bedroom/bathroom, I respect their privacy.

I know you had hard time in the past with AJ procrastinating and renter problems. The big question is - when will this bathroom be done??? Next, is for AJ to figure out if this renter is a keeper or to get him evicted. Next he needs to tell this man - to be polite and knock 1st before going in your bedroom/bathroom. He also needs to respect you in other ways and tell him he acted inappropriately to you. Maybe this man could stay at friends place until this is finished ...maybe take off 1 week rent. You need to lock your doors at night so he'll have to knock. I hope this project gets finished soon.
