It could very well be. It's like a scale. On one end manic. On other end depression.
We would need to discuss sleeping habits first. This is by far the best tell-tale sign of where your mind is at, at any given point.
If you think about our ancestors, sleep was never just an easy thing to attain I imagine. It takes training and in our world its become too easy.
Either way the direction you are headed should be considered. Its obvious you are having a quickening effect. Remaining calm will help you throughout while you explore your mind a bit more.
