When things are bad, I take it a day at a time...I'll just get thru today...these are the things I HAVE to do today...I'll be kind to myself and not try to do anything more...that kind of thing. I take my meds--my priority in life--and that keeps me pretty stable. Therapy helped a lot, but I'm pretty much through with that now...didn't seek another when therapist moved.
I have bipolar sister and nieces. Everyone else is depressed. These things run in families.
