Being a retired hairdresser myself, I am sorry that you couldnt enjoy the experience. But I do understand why. Your hairdresser sounded alot like me !! lol. Man this reminds me of old times. People used to request that I shampoo them. I wasnt afraid to give them a good scratchin lol And I always made sure that towards the end they were relaxed by a good scalp massage. My number one goal was to always have that person leaving feeling better than when they came in. I was very sensitive though to whether or not they were in a chatty mood or not. Or if they just needed some quiet time . I did notice alot of moms needed that . And older women needed company.
Sorry I am just rambling here. I hope over time you do become more comfortable with getting your hair done. I am glad your hubby noticed and complimented you on it though.. That had to be a perk for ya!!
