They put me on a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine last year when I was in the hospital for 5 weeks. ICK.

I wish you the best of luck. I ended up not being able to tolerate it at all. (Nor did I really need it, if you ask me. The respiratory arrest had to do with the disease process and not with any sleep apnea!)
If you have bad dry mouth from your meds, it's the pits. It will make it 100 times worse.
I hope it works out for you, though it surely didn't for me! :-)
