Their allowed to use corporal punishment at your school? Wow. I thought that was a thing of the past. How many people are in your year? Im usually a black and white thinker, but really, there have to be some people that you could like.
Is it possible to be friends with people outside your grade? I dont know much about boarding schools so sorry if its a stupid question, but if its like a traditional high school, all four years mingle some time or another. Dont be afraid to be alone. If you force relationships you can end up worse off then you were by yourself.
