So, I have another world I live in in my head. T says its not hallucination, but a coping mechanism. To me, its just the norm. Its my "life" if that makes sense.
Well, anyways, today at work I slipped into that other world unconsciously and was having a very intense (positive) conversation and then I "clicked back" to see one of the ambulance transporters (I work in an emergency room) looking at me. He asked with the most confused face, "...who are you talking to?"
Honestly, it was hilarious to me, because I realized how I had turned completely away from my computer and was "talking to" (although irl I wasn't talking to anybody) an empty space, lips moving and all.

<-- pretty much how I responded.
Has this ever happened to anyone? How do you know when you're there and tell yourself you need to "snap back" in a professional standpoint, or public, etc? I think I go there when i'm at peace more so than stressed, so I don't think it was anxiety induced or anything.
