I'm almost 38. I've never really been good with other people, very introverted. I think that's why the loss of the first friend 2 weeks ago (details of that are in another thread) really started this spiral and I'm having real issues with feeling lonely and not really wanted.

Apparently there was a birthday invitation on Facebook but I don't really use fb. It just hurts to think they forgot to even check with me to see if I was going until after they had already met up and got started.
