My question about the fake breasts and the dismal state of the art of surgical technologies had to do with the "why" - why have such horrendous looking breasts? What would be bad about simply well toned bodies with natural breasts? There are such things as proportions and oh how important they are, esthetically. Imagine Monroe having breasts twice her actual size. Would it be beautiful?.. no. So proportions are important. Fake breasts look so fake not only because they are too symmetrical, sit unnaturally on the chest, and for a whole host of other reasons, but also because they are often disproportionate to the rest of the body.

If I get what webgoji is saying, hugely disproportionate breasts are a hyperbole in the world of fantasy. It is not an attempt at true beauty - it is a hyperbole. Webgoji?
