Mother's don't like to see their children in pain, especially when they can't do anything to help. I'm sure your mother feels helpless. I know i would. She probably doesn't know what to say. Give her time. Meanwhile, you can only do the best you can to quit. I know it feels goods, but it is hurting you. Do the best you can to stop for your sake, because it only gets worse.
