I spent a month in inpatient rehab program and am glad I did it. Our days were pretty busy from 7 am to 8 pm with lots of exercise, talks and group therapy. The staff were all really nice and most of the councillors were in recovery themselves. The only part I really didn't like was being told what to do all the time and the constant supervision from the nursing staff.

Not sure what you're coming off of, but you might want to get some medical supervision as withdrawl can be pretty nasty - I had a seizure from alcohol withdrawl.
