Just an update, I went to the OBGYN and I'm going on depo provera. My dr drew me a nice illustration about how tegretol effects everything and how it makes my liver go into overdrive. He said he has other patients on tegretol and what he usually does is give them 50 mcg pills, since the tegretol decreases the effectiveness, but there's a higher risk of blood clots and stroke, and since I smoke, he didn't want me on it. The other option was Nuvaring, but I'm not to keen on that. The basic solution is to get the meds into the blood stream and bypass the liver. That's why I'm going to try Depo. I just really hope I don't go crazy. :P
