you might consider this. I got implanon. It's an implant in your arm that is effective for three years. It is not affected by antibiotics or any medications. It is not an "abortive" method (although it does thin the lining) it's actual job is to prevent ovulation. The major complaint most woman have is excessive bleeding or irregular periods. I've had mine for over 2 1/2 years. After the first 6 or so months the bleeding got much better and even though it's sometimes irregular, it's really not anything to get me off of it. It is not an IUD.
