Being off work and being bored wont help depression at all. because you have so much time on your hands, you are thinking about things more than you would if you were at work. thus making the bad thoughts worse. i would strongly reccomend going back to work, however scary it is, tackle your fears and just go back, this will keep your mind active and wont let you over think everything. it would definately do you good to get out of the house and be around many people.
maybe you could ask your work place if you start going back but only a few days a week, maybe 2 or 3 to begin with, then slowly build it up to the full 5 day week. its worth a try.... but if they say no, then go back normally, i know it will do you good.
