The trick is to stay really focused while looking ahead at the same time. Don't even "care" about the results of the tests, just get to where you are going to take the "next" one. Assume you will do fine on it and pass. This 3 months and the horrible/boring work will be over and you will be on to the next thing.
Worries are about the future and the future can go either way. I remind myself of that often so when I "worry"/am anxious, I can decide I might as well make up a good result as a bad one. Instead of worrying that someone who is late has been in an accident and is in the hospital, I decide they won lots of money and are filling out the paperwork to get it
