I love Joy Division. Great band, great music. Ian Curtis was a wonderful lyricist.
Although they are one of my favorites, I don't listen very often for a few reasons:
1.) They have triggered a depressive episode.
2.) Curtis committed suicide, and I tend to think of that when I hear their songs.
3.) I need the right environment to listen. His music calls for attention and I need to give it that attention to properly enjoy it.

Does anyone like a band but have the same circumstances I just talked about? Or am I all alone in that feeling?

Hope everyone's doing okay.
