Those were good times indeed. The Sex Pistols brought punk center stage, and many bands were influenced by them including Joy Division. A lot of people were not aware that Ian's quirky dance moves were based on his epilepsy and seizures. It got worse and caused a lot of embarrassment and depression for him near the end. He died before the American tour. The song Love will tear us apart became a instant hit. Joy Division has been credited for starting the whole Goth movement, but back then, we just considered them the Pink Floyd of Punk. They were really good times!
