It's too bad a lot of people think of Ian Curtis suicide when they hear Joy Division. I wish they knew how really courageous he really was and what a musical pioneer he was. He in turn influenced hundreds of bands. He would always say his music transcends meaning, take what you want from it, they refused to explain their lyrics. It took a lot of courage for him to get on stage in front of 1000's of people and perform while still suffering from epilepsy and seizures and depression. But he did! And always delivered 150%
