I honestly don't think your T really plans to come back. A family emergency doesn't last two years, or she would be able to come back and forth as needed. She has really moved to live full time in another country and has not returned. I know you don't want another therapist, but this is really an odd situation. I have no answers for you though. I know you like her a lot and I guess phone calls are sort of working for you. I just wonder if your progress is being slowed down due to this situation.
