I was diagnosed with AS five years ago. Around two years ago I started experiencing some mild psychotic/dissociative symptoms (I very frequently have disturbingly graphic violent intrusive thoughts which border on visual AND auditory hallucinations, and I have different people in my head who talk to me - I have a separate post about this in the DID section of the forum), and I also experienced what I believe was a depressive episode. After an emergency appointment and evaluation by CAMHS, I was told that it was all to do with Asperger's Syndrome. Has anyone else experienced similar problems as a result of AS, or have CAMHS screwed me over and lied to me? :/
