I've experienced what you just described because I have ASD and bipolar 1 w/ psychotic features. I had ASD all my life so when I was experiencing mood disturbances and psychosis at age 15, it was a red flag that something else was causing it. Talk to your therapist about this and hopefully you will get the help you need.
