If you are using loratadine to treat bipolar... it would be way way off label.

Like so far off label... I can't even come up with something clever to say about it.

Loratadine is know by brand as Claritin, as far as i know?
It's an allergy med.
Um... I think it's kind of similar in structure to a class of ADs.

But I've never heard it used for treatment of a mood disorder.
Though, if you are at the point where you are grasping at straws... erm.

I'm not sure.
Could it possibly be a different med?

Gapadetin- Could you mean gabapentin?
It's also marketed brand as Neurontin in the states, I'm not certain of other countries. It's an AED- Anti-Epileptic Drug/Anti Convulsant.
It can at times be used as a mood stabilizer but a lot of studies have shown [as far as I recall anyway, you should double check this stuff] that it usually needs to be used in conjunction with something else. I have often heard it can be helpful with anxiety though, and did find that myself for the short time I used it. It can also be helpful for neuropathic pain.

You might want to double check on the names of the meds though?

Are these for you or someone else?
