This one is kind of gross, just FYI.
I worked at my second job today and it started off pretty well. I had a super-easy assignment. Around the middle of the shift though, I was transferring my patient to the bathroom and he had a blow-out all over my pants and shoes, i.e. there was s*** all over me. Not gonna lie, it's not the first time it's happened to me (I've been in healthcare for 12 years) but it makes the night just...well, you get it. Thankfully, hospitals always have a supply of scrubs we can change into if need be, and this hospital has washers and dryers for the patients, so I threw my pants and shoes right into the wash.
I guess this is why we wear scrubs to work...
I freaking hate that job. I'd rather work in the ER (my full-time job) and have blood on my scrubs than have s*** all over them. I've never been a fan of giving showers and doing ADL's (activities of daily living). I'm definitely more suited to the ER.
