I have heard of a lot of experiments being done, when people were trying to "figure out and find cures" for some things... sadly some of those things made things worse.

I think one thing we all should remind ourselves, with history and humans in general- is that we learn... and some things we go about learning, aren't the best- but humans do learn.

Maybe slowly some times, but still.
